My absolute favorite lip oil I use this daily, I wish the formula was a little thinner because I do have to reapply it often. The pigment is so vibrant and beautiful and I don't feel like I'm wearing a sticky oil all day.

My wife and I both love the thorn bites and they've become our go-to lip products. Dark thorn is a gorgeous deep purple color that is both spooky and flattering making it a perfect everyday color for those who want an unusual lip without it being a focal point. It's not so dark that it looks odd when it begins to fade so I don't feel tied to a mirror.

Immediately after application, the first thing I notice is the beautiful color. It is a sheer purple and I simply adore it. There is a scent in the tube, but the taste isn't that strong. I have the tendency to chew/bite off of the crusty dead skin on my lips and sometimes lip balms have an odd taste or texture that is just weird but this lip oil does not give me any issues. A while after application, the oil fades? gets absorbed? with normal actions like talking, eating, etc and I do think my lips feel better compared to before lip oil application. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the threaded parts of the bottle and cap can get messy as product builds up there. I think that is normal or at least common for products that have this kind of format though. Overall, this would be my first choice if my priority in that moment is color and second overall in the lip balms/oils that I've tried.
