Transmitter does not last
This is a crucial piece for door operation and after 7 months I find myself having to replace the transmitter for both my dogs. Within the first 2 months of use, I noticed some chipping and cracking around the edges of both transmitters, one worse than the other. When I replaced the batteries a month or so ago I used electrical tape to hold it together as one was completely broken and the other was cracked around the edges. Today, I lost the second one, luckily she was inside when it fell off. My dogs are not rough with the collars but they do wear them everyday, I'm not sure if its just from banging around during play or wallering on the floor that caused them to break but it seems the back of these are very thin/cheap plastic and crack/chip very easily. Finally ordered replacements and rubber boots today, hopefully the rubber boots will hold them together better. Pictured is the one that fell off today, the other one is wrapped in electrical tape and still holding strong.

This company in general is remarkable. Grented yes, you pay for premium shipping, but the actually do it. I spoke to them the day proor, about the accuracy of what I was ordering, and within 24 hrs it was at my door. I didnt even pay for overnight shipping, just premium, but they did it anyway. Truly great service.

Love the door. I wondered how people do in the winter. My last door had flaps. I wanted to know if it is possible to have the outside sensor close at 2 seconds.
