Ultralight Hiking Shoulder Pouch - EcoPak

This is my second pouch from Joe's. Build quality is excellent! Would love to see ditty bags come into the lineup.

Lightweight, waterproof, but a bit cumbersome

I bought this pouch to keep my phone/glasses/snack in while backpacking in Yosemite. I really appreciate its light weight, and was able to mount it easily onto my backpack strap. It shipped very quickly, and arrived the day before my trip. There were a couple of cons however. First, the waterproof zipper is super hard to open and close. I usually needed 2 hands to open this, which gets cumbersome when using trekking poles. Hopefully this will get better over time. Second, I feel like the pouch is a bit too wide, and can interfere with my arms when using trekking poles.

Extra Storage

Light and keeps the rain out. Handy place to keep things you don't want to dig for in your backpack.
