Scheepstouw, or Ship's Rope, come in cylindrical pieces that look like short segments of rope. They are a hard licorice candy with a salty flavor and are dusted with a light salmiak powder coating.

Strong, delightful flavor!
The flavor is almost as strong as pure licorice extract, cut only be the sweetness of the sugar. Absolutely delightful.
