It is just what I was looking for in color. The weight is light, appropriately for a blanket. However, I would like to see a heavier weight for a throw.

I have a linen chair that needed a wool throw to look proper during the colder months. Problem is the fabric has stripes so I needed something with a large pattern or a tiny pattern to make contrast OR something simple and solid. The navy Ashby is what I needed. It's got a subtle almost birdseye pattern to give it some visual texture, and the fringe gives it away as being a blanket. I wish the secondary color was tan instead of grey, but from a distance it is hard to tell that it's a mismatch. This is not a thick throw, which you can tell by the price difference between it and the more upscale options, but I'm using it more for it's appearance instead of for maximum warmth. BTW it is machine washable, too!
