Temescal Organic Towels

I washed once to get the chemical smell out, and noticed that 1 of the towels has threads coming out in 4 or 5 different places. One spot is directly in the center of the towel and I am concerned if I trim it the towel will start unraveling . There are two more towels with threads coming out in multiple places as well. I hate to see what these towels look like after more than one wash. I am highly disappointed in the quality, as they seem to be made very cheaply, and I paid a lot of money for them.

I washed these towels upon arrival since they smelled like they were treated with something. I also had ordered separately a set of two more bath towels. Three of the four bath towels after one wash have threads sticking out. There are at least six spots where the threads are sticking out one in the dead center of the towel. These are far from high-quality and of course I can’t speak to anybody on the phone about the issue.
