SO BEAUTIFUL but WAY too thin

I comfortably wear an 11W but can usually squeeze my feet into a normal 11 (size I ordered of these). I couldn't even get my foot into the bed of the shoe let alone button it closed. So sad! I think they are incredibly beautiful and well made. Just not for my feet.

Perfect fit

These are my first and definitely not last pair of American duchess shoes!! The fit is true to size and they are very comfortable! They are a little stiff at the ankles at first but worry not, they soften and conform to your feet after a bit of wear. The only detail to be aware of would be that unlike the video about button boots provided on the website these boots buttons are on an elastic cord so you loose a bit of that historical touch and customizing isn’t really an option (but they are more likely to fit a broader range of people). So If you typically have troubles with shoes because of wider calves or feet maybe go for the wide boot and pay close attention to the measurements provided.

Immediate Comfort

I thought I’d have to break them in, but they were super comfortable from day one. The buttons are tedious, but that is to expected with this vintage style. They came with replacement parts in case I need to replace the heels or the buttons, which I love. I think I’ll be wearing these boots for the next decade at least.
