Great Flavor: deep, earthy, woodsy. Not as robust as the 2005 liming but I do enjoy it.

A new everyday drinker ...

This is a great budget tea with a non-budget taste. Up to now, the 2007 Pin Xiang "Bu Lang Shan" tuo was my benchmark for a value for money tea. Since I have tried the Zao Chun Jia Ji, it has become the new frontrunner. This tea is fantastic and has aged to a degree that makes it wonderful to drink now. There is no astringency to speak of, but lots of character instead. It is also a very complex tea and goes for many rounds, which cannot be said of all aged teas.
