Hop pack

I get the 10 HBU pack when making my Double Chocolate Stout. I think they smell great and my beer turns out great. I just brewed 15 gallons on Sunday and work great. I would like it better if I understood better the number in front of HBU. But, bottom line is that every time I use them my beer turns out great.
