I really appreciate Shafa blends, and have purchased both teas and spices. A few years ago I bought some Urfa Biber from a local spice shop in another town I lived in for a cousin who fell in love with it - it was new to both of us. I didn't buy any for myself at the time, though, even as the fragrance felt so warm and earthy. Recently I relocated and discovered Shafa and have been picking up various spices as I build up the spice rack in my new home and decided on a recent visit that it was time to try some myself. It's a lovely paper, not assaulting the senses, but hugging them. I can't wait to try it in my next batch of black beans.
