I have purchased several leather ties in various colors and widths so I am 'prepared when I obtain a pre-owned flute that doesn't have a deer hide tie that secures the block tightly. I like these extra long ties that give you the ability to tie the length you want. Sometimes after securing the block, there is enough to add a second tie at the other end of the flute.
