OcariNAF [Part flute, part ocarina!]

Little Flute

I am enjoying my little ocarinaf. Sometimes it doesn’t play consistently and I am trying to figure out why. I am playing and then suddenly it stops giving me sound especially on the 1st or second note. I don’t feel comfortable playing it for others since I don’t know why it stops making sound. Hoping to figure it out. Not sure if it wets out quickly. Otherwise I like the tone and size. Love the wood and the design. Thank you, Sue

Small with a mellow sound

I love this NF/ocarina. It is small enough to fit in my hoodie pouch or coat pocket and yet has a nice deep mellow voice. I’ve taken it with me a couple times while walking my dog and it’s lovely. Maybe there’s a little concerned about how to get the moisture out because there is no hole on the end and the block is not removable but so far I love this mighty little thing! The sound is really so nice with the key of E but unlike an E flute I would say it’s under 10 inches. Very nice thank you so much!

OcariNAF Em

It’s nicely made, even the grain in the wood lines up between the upper and lower halfs - that is attention to detail. The tuning is good too. Holding the OcariNAF is tricky at first and the 5-holes require learning a few more cross-fingerings. But it’s worth the effort to have a small, lightweight ‘Em flute to throw into the backpack.
