Takamura SG2 Migaki Gyuto 180mm

The Takamura SG2 Migaki Gyuto 180mm is the sharpest knife I’ve ever used. When Tokushu described this as laser sharp they weren’t exagerating. Although I would prefer a Japanese WA handle, I could not find any Takamura knives available in this style (SG2 Migaki) with a WA handle. That’s just my preference though. The sharpness of this knife out of the box quickly diminished that preference. Tokushu Knife is very helpful at answering all your questions. I highly recommend them.

Pretty awesome laser

Beautiful red handle, pristine blade, incredibly sharp out of the box - I like it just as much as the last Takamura I bought from you guys!
