Perfect for small to medium size books

Well designed, folds out easily, can be adjusted to desired angle, book rest has two tabs to use holding pages in place, and folds up easily again - easy to store. Also lights with clamps and a long goose neck can be attached. Nice solution for displaying a book, making it available for browzing through, or reading.

Well made

The book stand is well made and looks fine. The only improvement would be to make the little shelf on which the book rests able to accommodate thicker books. I added a 3/8 inch x 3 x 14 piece of wood to allow a reference book to be supported when closed. A nice innovation would be to make the pivots extendable so that you could pull them out maybe an inch if needed. Have them be on a pin.

This has been a great purchase for me. I was having a terrible time reading—stiff painful neck. The book stand has solved this problem. Very happy with it.
