I loved the Hello Disc but felt it was slightly too big for me. This was a great alternative since it was slightly smaller and very soft.

Wow. I am so happy to have found the period nirvana quiz! I have been curious about alternatives to tampons for over a decade and have never found anything that worked. Mainstream cups, discs, disposable discs, they just didn’t work and always leaked forcing me back to tampons. Last cycle was my latest attempt to get my disc to work right and I found my self researching what I was doing wrong. A Reddit thread sent me to a period nirvana education video and subsequently the quiz. I discovered that I wasn’t doing anything “wrong”, I was using the wrong sized disc! I had no idea the world of disc types, let alone sizing. This is the first cycle where I’m using my new salt disc and I already know I’m never going back. IT WORKS!! It is so comfortable and easy and FREEING. I highly recommend anyone struggling or just unsure to take the quiz. It’s not you or your body that’s the problem, it’s the product!

I’ve been a huge fan of period nirvana ever since my cousin gave me the recommendation. What a god send to have this information all in one place with loads of encouragement and no shame. Period Nirvana has been here for me on my menstrual cup/disc journey from day one of switching from tampons. The quiz helped me save a lot of money and time, narrowing down the best products for me and setting me in the right direction. This is my third saalt disc. I was tempted to try some other well rated discs but then thought why fix what isn’t broken or change what’s already working great. I cannot say thank you enough. Period nirvana for life!!
