Hello Cup Low Cervix

As a woman who previously used the Fun Cup, which is now mysteriously unavailable in the United States after the controversial tariffs, I was looking for an alternative and was hoping the low cervix Hello Cup would be it. I wish my experience with the Hello Cup had been better. I ordered the dual cup pack to see which size would be best. Unfortunately, neither cup worked for me. The material the cup is made of became very sticky after being sterilized, and the cup wouldn’t open properly, even though I followed the cleaning and insertion directions. As much as I’d love to use the low cervix Hello Cup due to its nice size and its lack of a stem, I wasn’t able to use this menstrual cup. I guess the search for an alternative to the Fun Cup continues. Please note that I am not faulting Period Nirvana for this — they are a great shop and got the products to me in a safe and timely manner.

I previously had a small and then a large Eva cup which is a pretty standard silicone cup with a stem. The width worked and it was pretty leak proof for me but was too long and the stem was uncomfortable. I started looking for a low cervix cup and was drawn to the hello cup due to its larger capacity than some others and its smooth bottom. It worked great for me. No leaks, good capacity, and the smooth stemless bottom is great if you are moderate to lower cervix. Was comfortable even on a 5 mile mountain hike. It still has enough grip to be easy to remove (though I do have 10 years of menstrual cup experience). It’s TPE which I like fine. Plenty stiff for suction though it takes a little more effort to get it to pop open. It’s fairly easy to return it to a round shape by running it under hot water each empty and reshaping. All in all I am really pleased with the Hello low cervix cup!

I’ve been using cups for a decade and have never found one that properly fits a low cervix and stays put after 3 babies. This is the one, ladies! And it doesn’t have a stem, exactly what I wanted-the stems always bug me. Now I can go to the pool with my kids all month long. Thank you, Hello!
