MYSTIC PICKLEBALL PADDLE

My new Mystic 247 paddle performs much better than my previous paddle. When needed the power is there to return a hard hit ball or to drive the ball. The surface of the paddle allows for exceptional spin when required. I am enjoying it, and after using it about 6 weeks I am satisfied. The only thing I have noticed and others as well is when the ball hits the perimeter of the paddle it makes a different sound and the ball doesn't respond as lively. I thought maybe it was my grip on the paddle but it occurs just when the ball is made contact on the perimeter. My doubles partner also noticed the difference in sound and effect.

The paddle felt somewhat lightweight, so I added a small amount of weight to enhance its stability and my overall comfort. The vibration is quite pleasant. All in all, it is a truly lovely paddle.

Definitely improved my game since using it. More spin on serve, more consistency on return and greater control at the kitchen line.
