Gen 4 Power R1 100% Foam Core Standard Shape With Floating Island Propulsion Core T700 Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle - (GEN4 STANDARD)

I am liking this paddle very much. It has a good combination of power and control. I have been able to adjust to it in just a week or so. It is lightweight too, so I am able to handle speedups and fast exchanges very well.

It wasn’t great the first time I played with it but I’m really glad I gave it a second chance. It reminded me of the boomstik. I’m going to experiment with adding weight. Any suggestions?

Strong pop

I waited to write this review until I could really put this paddle through the paces. Very strong power, but a little too much pop. Control was really lacking. I tried hesacore grip, glove and light grip to no avail. If you are looking for a power paddle, this fits the bill. You will need to add a little weight to improve sweet spot. Not a bad paddle, but not a control, all court paddle.
