I am new to pickle ball. Playing recreational. But have played racquet sports for 4 decades. This paddle Gen 4 R2 is simply amazing in my hands. I can place extreme spin on all shots, control is fabulous (still learning foot work and resets), the hand speed (I am 67 inches and 161 lbs) or reaction to fast play is intuitive and fast, and my ball speed on servers unmeasured are rather quick, predictable (also accurate) even against 3.0 and higher players. Maybe this also helped by a generous sweet spot. So I would say 50:50 player to racquet. This is a keeper for sure. Hopefully it will be certified by whatever pickleball authority so that I won’t have to change!

Really enjoyed the paddle. I had tennis elbow playing with other honeycomb paddles. With this paddle, no more pain. Power and control was exceptional. Would highly recommend the paddle for the playability and price.
