This is a great light to have when you want to go hands free for a night of stargazing or trekking. The band itself is very comfortable; although for extended periods of use, I prefer to wear it over a toque for some more comfortability. Adjusting the straps is extremely easy too, and there is a decent amount of flexibility to the band itself for those with larger heads. The various angles for light positioning is also a terrific feature. Having the option to position it a certain way while operating the telescope makes it very convenient as you manipulate the light more than your head and positioning. It's a gem for looking over star maps as well - it isn't harsh on your eyes whatsoever. While I am a fan of rechargeable flashlights, I like that this one uses AAA as I will always have a fallback for a hands free, red light.
