Wayyyyyy too short for safari; cloth very thin

I really looked forward to receiving these shorts as they ticked all my boxes--comfortable waist band, cargo pockets, great "safari" look. I live in Nairobi, Kenya and go on lots of photo safaris. But these shorts are way too short. On a day-long photo safari, they would be most uncomfortable, riding up and not covering my thighs at all. In addition, the cloth is very thin -- I think it would wear out very quickly. Such a shame -- perfect style but not for game drives.
