Worm School

We received our Box of Life about 3 weeks ago. I loved how all of the packaging was either used as part of the worm habitat or recyclable. There was no waste at all. The students were so excited to dig right in and see the red wigglers. The “parenting guide” to raising worms is great. It’s informative, easy to read, and has some great ideas for classroom experiments too.

Thank you Box of Life for the entertaining, educational, and hands-on workshops that you brought to the library during March Break. Our library clients (and staff) had a blast!

Love our worms!!!

I am so happy to have found the box of life!! I am a librarian in Guelph, and decided to add the box of life to my library / learning commons in order to teach students about the importance of worms and composting, and the important cycle that helps our food and plants grow! The box was so easy to set up, and I can confirm that a month in, it does not smell at all! I love being able to open up the box and show students what is happening with our leftover scraps. Our plan for the worm castings is to add them to our school vegetable garden, which we grew from seeds!
