Inreach for newbie hiker trash :)

I got inreach mini 2 for family hike of Sheltowee Trace Trail. My family was able to know we were safe each day. I had piece of mind that my family would have safety and our extended family could let us know if they were ok I took wife and 7 yr old for several week long section hikes. We could update extended family daily where we were and we were ok. My parents are elderly with health issues and I had peace of mind they could contact us anywhere and anytime if they had problems we needed to know about. Just perfect! We chose the monthly payment since we were doing several week long sections and work schedules prevented straight through hike. Get one from GGG and have peace on your trip
