Bamboo Scoop for Tea Leaves

I have really enjoyed using the bamboo scoop that I received with my order of oolong tea. This was my first experience with oolong tea and the scoop made measuring the right amount of tea leaves easy and convenient. One of my favorite books, "The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane" tells the story of the love, pride and importance of the trees that are cared for by generations of the same families. The bamboo scoop allowed me to connect in a small way with the culture of those that care for these tea trees. And the tea was delicious!
