Bulk Sodium Metabisulfite.
While I have made wine before, I am using this for photographic purposes. A component of film and paper Fixer for this, but you really should see what paper and film developers can be made from along with the subtle tanin staining differences in emulsions. Alas, the families of beer I like the most, are also the best candidates for developer.
At some point in the near future I may see how well Hops will do as a primary developer as I already know finished beer has been used with acceptable results, though a cheap second run wine I tried worked poorly; I have had excellent results from Mesquite, Rosemary, Oregano and Sage.
