I have been riding with these socks. I had read there was little to no odor and they would be warm and comfortable in most conditions. I have not been disappointed. Tested the odor free and compared to synthetic or cotton blend there is no noticeable odor. Hot and dry, dust and perspiration rolling down my legs, blood from ankle bangs on my pedals nothing seems to create stains or odor. Since I live in the Sonoran desert rain isn’t a normal consideration. But after riding a normal easy loop I got dumped on. The only thing not cold were my feet. In a pair of light hikers from Darn Tough! They are great and I would recommend to anyone. Ken

You get what you pay for

To be honest, this is the first pair of socks I've owned that didn't come in a $10 3-pack. In my thru-hiking research, Darn Toughs are the ONLY socks that are consistently mentioned. I haven't hiked more than a hundred miles on them yet, but damn they are comfortable. I've gotta buy a couple more pair.
