Tweed Princeton® 5F2-A Style Guitar Tube Amp Kit

Great amp, great build

This little amp sounds amazing and was a super fun build. Great for beginners and tone enthusiasts. The project want over once the circuit was done. I'm making my cabinet head for this beauty to live in. Another fun project on top of a fun project.

Sounds amazing! Minor build issues.

Really enjoyed building this amp. I had a few minor setbacks with the kit. My eyelet board was missing two eyelets. I did not hear back from tech support, so I figured out how to point-to-point wire the components at these locations. Also, the 12AX7 tube seems to be half broken; one side would glow, the other did not. No sound from the amp until I swapped out the tube with a spare tube. Finally, I did not see that any "level of difficulty" was published, and I could not find a build manual on the site; the link was broken. In the end, I figured out the build, and that was a great learning experience for me. The Tweed Princeton is my go-to amp right now, and I love how it sounds. Would buy another MojoTone kit without hesitation.
