8" G8C - 20 Watts

I am very satisfied with the G8C. Ive purchased two of them now… one for a solid state amp, and a second for an all tube amplifier. In both applications, the G8C is smoother in the highs than the stock speaker and more articulate in the mids. The bass frequencies, while not shaking the house by any means, are noticeably rounder… a bit more pronounced than with the stock speakers. It was a good call.

Mid 70's Vibro Champ replacement speaker

I replaced the original speaker in a Fender Vibro Champ that had started buzzing as low notes trailed off. This speaker is a wonderful replacement. My customer is very happy.

Old champ into vintage gold

I put this in my 1964 Fender Champ and it improved the sound in every way. Fatter low end, richer mids, nicer highs. It is shockingly full for an 8" speaker. And it is LOUD.
