Now that my built is complete and I've played the bass for a bit I can the followong: - frets and fretboard, near perfect I have a slight ding on fretboard end. Nothing that affects playing - back side: perfect - nut: D-string slot slightly off, more on the A-string side. Don't notice it while playing. Good amount of nut to be filed to correct slot depth. - headstock: perfect All in all: excellent for tye price so far. Time will tell how it'll hold up. So far so good.

Consistent quality

I have purchased a number of different necks from AE over the years. They have all been of exceptional quality for the price. I just added a short scale bass neck to the list, and am am very happy with it. As with others, the materials and workmanship are top rate. Thank you, AE!
