Really Big Peppers

I have tried for years with little success here in So. Cal. to grow big bell peppers. I purchased these seeds and finally have gotten some good size peppers off of only 3 plants that I tucked into the back of my raised bed. The plants are very large— over 5 ft tall. Planted them at end of May, and peppers are just turning red by early October–very slow even after regular fertilization with liquid fruit & bloom. Overall very pleased and will definitely grow again.

these seeds germinated then died off one by one. I used Jiffy seed mix as I do every year to start them but they dampen off. Better luck next year I guess
