I was on the fence, 7C or 7P. however I am more partial to rosewood vs mahogany. this is my first ceder top and after spending about 15 hours with it I'm in love. Alhambra has some good video's out on you-tube profiling their guitars so you can get a good listen. There is something, in my opinion, about a quality guitar made in Espana. Service from Geoff is the best. I also love the fact he is a classical / flamenco aficionado too. This really puts me at ease when purchasing from x guitars vs. a big box store where you never know what you may get let alone communicating with someone who actually plays this style guitar. Set up was on point in what was requested. playability fantastic. Savarez 500AJ strings make this guitar sing. I do spend time playing in my garden for my plants or wherever I am at. Second purchase from x guitars.

Ten months after the guitar arrived, I'm even more pleased with my selection. Although the 7P was a major improvement over my Yamaha, I wanted to be sure it stood the test of time. As my skills improved, my appreciation for the guitar's rich tones, sustain, clarity, and resonance also increased. My instructor has commented several times in recent months on the instrument's excellent sound. The buying experience was stronger than with other sellers, on line or locally. Geoff took time to build a relationship and guide me through the selection. His deep brand knowledge, consistent support, and clear and concise written communications gave me the confidence to proceed. Although resistant at first, I came to appreciate Geoff's recommendation for Corum New Cristal Savarez high tension strings as they enhance the richness of this superb instrument.

My Alhambra Classical Guitar

I spent more than a year shopping for this guitar. I looked at luthiers, and other online music outlets but couldn't be happier with the satisfaction I have in dealing with Geoff. I got just what I wanted , including the beautiful hard shell case and Geoff even sent me the gig bag for the cost of shipping. Geoff obviously knows his business. The delivery was quick and the packaging was perfect! I have made a new friend......lol.
