TUSQ Nut by Graph Tech Model # 6114-00 Slotted

I've been using Tusq nuts and saddles since setting up my repair shop over a year ago. They're great replacements for plastic or if the guitar's geometry has changed and a new nut is needed. So may choices of sizes and string spreads. Great stuff. This one was for my own 1991 Takamine NP15C. Fits perfectly and sounds great.

It really works!!! Gretsch G6134TFM

I bought Gretsch G6134TFM Nigel Hendroff signature penguin about 2 years back. But this guitar was literally unplayable due to tuning issue. Forget about bending or using bigsby, tuning was going out by only playing chords. Tried to fix it by installing new nut with filing by luthier, putting roller bridge and string buttler but nothing worked. I just gave up and used it with only very gentle chord playing. Recently I bought this black tusk graphtech nut 6114. Width and length was perfect. Only need to sand bottom part little bit to make it lower which i didn't do yet. Magically tuning issue is solved. Really it stays in tune even with bending and using tremolo. Wish I had bought it earlier... Thank you so much
