Added a 1 inch female and a 3/4 inch male PVC pipe fitting to either side of the jug. Now l can keep the caps with me all the time, won't get lost or misplaced and switch them as I need to. Maybe you could have this done in the injection mold press and see what you think of it. Just a thought.

I didn't think the perfect can existed but these are it! I need to get several more for liquid storage. Worked great during a severe weather electricity outage this week that lasted for 36 hours.

I like my 5 gallon Tuff Jug especially the auto shutoff feature. I have one suggestion for future jugs. A ridge or indentation on the bottom of the jug on the opposite side from the handle would make it easier to hold the jug especially when the jug is full and at its heaviest.
