Chill Factor
It’s very good! I’ll make it again and may increase the dry hops a little bit but otherwise it’s solid.

First try at a Cold IPA and pleased
I was not able to find a cold IPA in my local stores so I ordered this kit. I used the Saflager W 34/70 yeast based on research for the style. I made the beer following the instructions. I was expecting more of a "West Coast" hopping but the recipe is more of a "NEIPA" hopping with a biotransform DH. After fermentation the beer was cloudy as I would expect from a NEIPA. I added 10 ml BioFine Clear during cold crash and got a crystal clear finished beer. Taste and body were as expected based for the style. A very good, drinkable IPA with clean hop character. I ordered a second kit with the free Imperial Global L13. I plan to use a "West Coast" hop schedule with 1 oz Mosaic as FWH to about 39 IBU, 20 min hop stand with 1 oz Mosaic, 2 oz Centennial and a post fermentation DH with 2 oz each of Mosaic and Centennial. Water chemistry in both beers the same with high sulfate/chloride ratio. Can't wait to compare the two!

Nice "IPA"
Really happy with how this one turned out. Crisp, balanced, and IPA-like, but a little different. This came out very clear (cold crash surely helped with that). I am still pretty new to using brew-in-a-bag, which probably contributed to my lower OG (1.053 compared to the 1.062 target). I'm glad NB offered this style (which I hadn't had before) in a kit.
