Best running shoes I’ve ever had. I don’t know what’s required behind the scenes. Y’all are doing what must be best for the company. But I’m sad they’re being discontinued. I bought a pair of rough runners about a year ago. Still haven’t worn them down after a few hundred miles of road running. When I saw them on closeout I bought 2 pair. And, side note, the ballistic trainers are also my favorite gym shoe. They fit like a glove.

Rock Solid Running Shoe

I'm sad to see these leave the GORUCK product range, they are a great shoe, a fantastic all-rounder. I run on local trails and the Rough Runner handles the terrain well, dry and dusty, which turn to slick and slippery in the rain, gravel, tarmac, cross country etc. My only comment is that the heel cup, specifically the back tab of the shoe on the achilles is made of a harder material than most running or trail shoes. This tab is less cushioned. However, with my GORUCK merino crew socks, this issue is completely wiped away. As for value for money, at their current end of range sale price, there is no question about the value. Even at the original price, I've found that the shoe is highly durable, and good for 5k a day for quite some time. I've yet to run through a pair yet. Rough Runners, we'll miss you

Solid addition to the mix

So far so good. I've only worn them a few times, but I am liking them. The fit is great, wide up front, and locks my heel in well. I have trail run a bit and walked in general Looking forward to really getting into them.
