Pillow Cube Deluxe Hybrid Mattress

An investment worth it's weight in sleep

I typically sleep on my side, and with the success I've had from my Side Cube pillow, it was a no brainer to purchase a Mattress from Pillow Cube when the time came for a new mattress. I purchased the Deluxe Hybrid Mattress for my new Queen Bed and I could not be more comfortable when I go to sleep (I actually look forward to going to bed). Pairing this mattress with my Side Cube pillow is the perfect combination of comfort and alignment. The Deluxe Hybrid Mattress is rated 3/10 in firmness meaning that it is soft and supportive which is exactly what I like. While I can sleep on firm mattresses, they don't work well for me as a side sleeper (I tend to lose feeling in the arm I sleep on). This mattress has the perfect amount of give so that I am not crushing my arm or shoulder and can rest comfortably on my side with my spine aligned perfectly. Ever since I started sleeping on this mattress, I've noticed higher sleep scores in my ring wearable as well. It's been a great addition for my room, and a steady improvement to my health (and overall sleep). I liked my Deluxe Hybrid Mattress so much, that I went and purchased a Full Size version for my guest bed. For this purchase, I was assisted by Parker Yandric from Pillow Cube who helped me choose between the various mattress options (I was exploring all three mattress options since this purchase was for a guest bed). Parker was incredibly helpful, he answered my many, many questions, gave insightful recommendations, and he helped me snag a great deal on the mattress. Even after delivery, Parker was great to work with and continued helping me with a few other questions and concerns that I had. To date, the mattress has proven to be an effective solution for my side sleeping needs. It has effectively alleviated any shoulder, hip, or back pain that I experienced previously. Additionally, I am satisfied with the edge support provided when I am sitting on the bed’s edge. While the mattress may retain some heat due to the absence of a cooling cover, I am confident that this issue can be easily addressed by purchasing a separate cooling cover or removing a layer of blanket.

Fantastic Mattress

I bought a queen deluxe hybrid mattress from Pillow Cube back in 2023 as I had been enjoying one of their pillows and am posting here to write a long term review. As a side sleeper, I appreciated the fact that this mattress was designed specifically for side sleepers. I've always heard that you should not skimp out on your mattress (and shoes and car tires haha) so I decided to invest some in my sleep when it came time for my first real new mattress. Let me tell you, from the first night I have slept fantastic in this bed ever since. It's supremely comfortable and I am so glad I decided to make a purchase. I'm in my early thirties so I don't really get much at my age, but on this mattress I've never had kinks in my neck, no aches from sleeping weird, just cozy and restorative sleep. On other mattress, with other pillows, that had been an occasional thing, perhaps a few times per year but not with the Pillow Cube. Previously I had been used to a medium mattress and would describe this on the soft side of medium. The extra softness has been helpful for me to get the support and coverage I need on my side. I also haven't really noticed any significant wear as the mattress has broken in. It still feels as good as it did on day one. I'm looking forward to many more years with it. I do use a mattress protector as well to prevent it from wearing out too quickly from absorbing skin oils, dirt, etc. In addition to this mattress I bought a set of the zip fit sheets and a comforter which I believe came with it. Still using both. The zip fit sheets are straight up better than traditional sheets in every way. The setup is a bit weird, but it's so easy to wash them and remake my bed. They are so soft and amazing. I hope Pillow Cube never stops making them. One thing I have noticed is in the winter, my pillows tend to get a little harder if they are too cold. The mattress does not do this. I think it's due to some differences in the foam types. It's a non-issue. As soon as you lay down, the pillow warms up and is back to its normal loftiness. Again I can't recommend this mattress more highly. If you are a side sleeper, as long as you don't want a super firm mattress (doubtful) this is a wonderful mattress. Great work, Pillow Cube!
