I bought this before Christmas to give my husband as a gift. First things first, the price was great, had a special on it, and free shipping! It arrived well vacuum packaged and super fast! I had expected it to take several weeks but it got here in aboyt week or less. Which brought on the tricky problem of hiding it from hubby until Christmas Day. LOL! Thank goodness it’s winter, we live in WA state and it’s been cold out, or I’d have had to refrigerate it inside and ruin the surprise (but I have a garage freezer that is empty and swapping ice packs daily did the trick). The prosciutto looks great out of the package, it smelled so good (like I was back home in my Friuli), and tasted so yummy! Only thing, we used a ham support and long slicing knife, but prosciutto is better sliced with a meat slicer, so we’ll use that next time, as hand slicing renders pieces that were too thick for my liking. But that was our fault. I had never ate/bought Levoni before, so I was pleasantly surprised. Especially with the good price I paid, I think it compares to others like Principe or DOK dall’Ava products. It may last us a while, it may not…I recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. Buon sapore, e un buon valore dal punto di vista qualità/peso/prezzo che era in offerta sotto le feste natalizie, e con spedizione gratuita. Da buona Friulana/Pordenonese, e se anche voi avete un po’ di nostalgia di casa come me, io vi raccomando l’acquisto, non vi pentirete di sicuro.
