I use this microscope to look at knife edges, i sharpen knives. What it lacks is depth of field for looking at the whole bevel on the knife edge...the microscope i ought from you before this one worked exactly like i needed it too...except for the fact that i wear bifocals and had to take the glasses off to use the microscope. believe me...i have tried all magnifications and all light settings but i just cannot get it clear...i probably would have returned it but my girlfriend took the box to be recycled...so...i am doing my best...just not exactly what i need..

We manufacturer electronics and require detailed inspection. For many electronic components we need to verify part marking and polarity but under a normal microscope this can be difficult as the etching is faint and it requires the user to move the product around at different angles in an attempt to hit the lighting just right so you can see the markings. With this 3D digital microscope all you need to do is rotate the 3D prism and the markings pop right out for easy reading. Not only that, you can rotate 360 degrees around the components and see all the solder joints. The display resolution is fantastic, bright and easy for our operators to see. It would be great if it could be mounted on a boom stand.

USB thumb drive.

Would not work with new thumb drive. Had to get my ancient one out of retirement to get pictures.
