This new iteration of the Texas Power Bar is absolutely fantastic! I just competed with the new cerakote versions of the squat bar, power bar and deadlift bars at the Arizona USPA State Championship last month.... ONE MONTH LATER I own 3 bars from this company! Axle, bench bar and now this. The new knurling is volcano style, think sharp point with the tip chopped off. This has each mark touch in multiple spots and spreads out the impact. Results, PLENTY of grip but will not scuff up your hands! If you're looking for their sharpest bar, the deadlift bar still has the pointy knurling but this is an amazing daily driver so to speak. At 44 lbs, and now 29mm, it's exactly what we use in competition. There's generous clearance getting back into the j cups too. This bar was a gift for my wife and daughter, it's purple and we call this bar "Purple Haze"🎵
