I had about 300 square feet of ceiling to cover. I bought the 18 can kit. I wound up with much less than an inch of insulation on it. Using an IR thermometer shows no difference in ceiling temperature during the day. I will be putting up batt insulation and furring strips. I wasted $270 plus 2 big tarps.
