SEMCO Liquid Membrane™ Waterproofing

Just finished putting it on the inside of our fountain basin. Th sides are cement block with a skim coat of concrete over the block. The blocks sit on a concrete slab. It always leaked. I’ve used every waterproofing under the sun and always had leaks. I used epoxy where the blocks meet the slab.Rolled Semco over the sides. Just filled it and so far so good.The real test will be how it survives the Michigan winters. I drain the fountain in the winter obviously but the temperature changes and sunlight has destroyed every other waterproofing I’ve tried. Hope this works.

So far I’m giving it 5 stars. I was surprised at the color. I ordered brown slate, when I opened the can it appeared to be gray slate. I used it anyway because I was going to paint over it. As it dried, it changed color from gray to brown. It ended up being a nice rich brown color. I waited a few days then painted brown arylic paint over it. It adhered well. Now just waiting for a strong windy storm from the southeast to see if it truly seals and works.
