Last Birthday Cake

When I first smelled this, I got the image of my Abuelita putting on her Vanderbilt perfume. Which I own after her passing. Smells powdery but I believe it's the incense and Almond mixing together. On my skin I smell something similar to a vanilla box cake hot out of the oven, and have flowers arranged around the kitchen. I get very nostalgic smelling this, I will for sure be getting the full bottle.

It gave me sweet vanilla playdough at the start, then it transformed into sweet vanilla playdough with a hint of rum on dry down. I was so excited for the story of this scent, which was /so/ strongly communicated in Inexcusable Evil, but I just can't parse out the beginning, middle and end here. Beyond that, I don't find the scent pleasurable enough to wear, though I haven't tested how it interacts with my skin yet.

i was fully expecting this to smell like cake. it doesn’t to me but it’s still delicious. i love how you truly can smell all of the notes. it’s an insane fragrance experience
