I'm been wanting a true Japanese tetsubin for several years, particularly the Nambu Arare. I finally ordered it, along with an iron trivet, in October. They both arrived last week and I am so thrilled to have them. They are both truly beautiful to look at. I keep them on the center of my kitchen island, and they have turned my tea drinking into a peaceful, intentional, daily ritual. I'll have both of these items for the rest of my life.

Loving the kettle so far. You can tell this was handmade and despite shipping across the world I got it in about 3-4 days (!!). Was very pleasantly surprised. It had some rust inside on arrival but it appears that is normal. Really enjoying the ritual of using this and it works well on my ceramic stove top.
