I had to buy an extra because I apparently lost the original filter piece in the trash when I emptied out the hair . Now I have plenty extras just in case... Thanks.

Product fits appropriately. My one concern is that the pre-filter material is a sponge like material instead of the more fibrous material that our FurMe arrived with. The sponge like material holds our German Shepherds fur and is tougher to rinse the fur out of. However, the dander does rinse out easier and I believe the sponge will last longer. I am concerned with the fur that is not removable getting into the larger, pleated filter.

We like the Fur Me groomer because it sucks the loose hair up and doesn't fly all over the place. The only thing we've had difficulty with are the clippers. My husband says because they are plastic they don't cut as well.
