One of the pleasures of home brewing is being able to enhance the character of the ale by adding something more. I've found that the quality and flavor of floor malted grains can improve efficiency, color and flavors of my brew. This is one of the things that sets home brew apart from craft brews. I don't home brew to save money. I home brew to make better beer than what's available at the store.

Weyermann Floor Malter BoPils - Top Notch

Probably the best malt out there for authentic Czech lager. Produces a gorgeous, honeyed malt aroma and bready malt flavor. I wouldn't use anything else for a Czech pilsner; no cara malts required, this malt has enough complexity to stand on its own.
