Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils Yeast

First Lager

This is my first lager and was blow away at how long and steady the Czech Pils Yeast worked in the Fermentation chamber. It just finished the diacetyl rest and started the lager. Have not tasted the final product yet but it seems like yeast did a great job working at those cooler lager temps.

The brew is in the bottle. Waiting for the required six weeks to pop the first top. The yeast worked just like it was supposed to. Now I hope I won’t get any more emails asking me to rate my purchase of the yeast.

Perfect for a Bohemian Pils

Just kegged my BoPils made with 2278. The yeast worked great and made a very nice beer. This keg won’t last long.
