Chisel back very flat out of the box so minimal effort to get the back polished. Also really like the square sides while working.

Best chisel I have ever held in my hand

Have not used it yet, but it looks and feels awesome! You can tell great care and thought went into its design and craftsmanship. The balance is great, it disassembles and comes back together like clockwork. The blade is superb with crisp edges. The blade is superb, with clean, crisp edges. I also appreciate the extra care taken to protect it with a rubber blade cap and sturdy packaging during shipping. Will definitely buy more as my budget allows.

Product was perfect for 3/4” wood mortises. I spent some time getting rid of grinding marks on backside. Feels good in my hand.
