Balance and Unity Original Cork Yoga Mat

I've been doing yoga for 20 years and I thought I'd give this cork mat a try. I do hot power yoga and it just cant keep up with the sweat for a 75 min class. Grip is fine but 3/4 way through the class I'm laying in puddles of sweat and have to use a towel to finish or risk slipping. Cork doesn't seem thick enough, and for what I paid just isn't worth it for me. I wouldn't recommend the mat. Update to original review. I purchased a pro mat and it is much heavier and more absorbent. Working with customer service for return of Original Cork Yoga Mat - 72" x 26".

Happy with mat...used it 2-3x

so far so good! I've used it just a few times and haven't used it in very, very hot temps...mostly high 80s to 90. No complaints.

Grippy but wears easily

I have only used this mat a handful of times. I do like it as far cushioning and grip are concerned….however there are obvious signs of wear and tear especially where my hand placement is. It is one thing for the material to inherently have some kind of break in during initial use but when the material is coming off the surface I am not confident in the longevity.
