Unfortunately this is made in China I thought it was a garage type company from the US ... No I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was mass produced in China as I wanted to support the small companies.

Katabatic Gear Bristlecone Bivy - 6’ Regular/Wide

Limited use at this point, but this bivy is really well made and exactly what I had been searching for. The bivy can be opened from either side and zippers are super smooth. For anyone wondering about the wide option… I wound up exchanging a regular sized bivy for a regular/wide for situations where a thicker sleeping pad will be used. I like to be able to fully bend at the knees and sometimes store gear with me when inside. The regular width was close, but the wide gives me the space I need. The mesh over the head area is also wider and breathes well. I am 5’10 and the regular length bivy is also long enough to provide additional space from head to toe. Love it.
