Madagascar Vanilla Bean Powder

I added a shake to banana bread batter. It added a subtle but flavorful hint of vanilla. I’m excited to try it in other recipes.

This is amazing in all baking but I love using it in my hot chocolate and when I want that hint and taste of vanilla without the extra liquid of using vanilla extract.

Yes, this product is very very expensive. It is a special item though and I love it. There are times when you need vanilla yet do not want to add even a drop more liquid to the recipe. It imparts a yummy rich vanilla flavor whenever I use it. Obviously, at this high price I cannot use it in good faith every time I use vanilla in a recipe. Nonetheless, it is well worth having in my pantry for those special times.
